VC Certified Standards

VC Certified - With Border.png

VC Certified (a certification for farmers and for products where every single ingredient comes from certified farmers that only use Vegan Cultivation processes) would only allow soil amendments/fertilizers/etc., such as fruit/vegetable compost, crop rotation, ground weeds (weeds ground up), etc., to be used in order to feed the plants with the necessary nutrients to grow and thrive. The point of this Certification is to assist many concerned vegans/vegetarians who are conscious about where their food comes from and whether or not the cultivation practices are in accordance with their principles/values. For both VC and NSAC, there will be two types of certifications. The first one costs more and has audits and includes the word CERTIFIED below the VC/NSAC logo. The second one costs less and includes the word DECLARATION below the VC/NSAC logo instead of certified. The second one doesn’t require audits, but requires a promissory note to be signed (by hand or by electronic signature), detailing your exact growing practices. This transparency note would then be posted to the VG Cultivation Certifiers website in order to assure customers of yours that your practices are in line with the VC/NSAC Cultivation Certification requirements. In addition to the VC logo, all VC Certified entities may use the NSAC Certified logo. If you are at all interested, the pricing for VC Certification is below.

VC Declaration Standards

VC Declaration (a declaration for farmers and for products where every single ingredient comes from farmers who have officially declared that they only use Vegan Cultivation processes) would only allow soil amendments/fertilizers/etc., such as fruit/vegetable compost, crop rotation, ground weeds (weeds ground up), etc., to be used in order to feed the plants with the necessary nutrients to grow and thrive. The point of this Declaration is to assist many concerned vegans/vegetarians who are conscious about where their food comes from and whether or not the cultivation practices are in accordance with their principles/values. For both VC and NSAC, there will be two types of certifications. The first one costs more and has audits and includes the word CERTIFIED below the VC/NSAC logo. NSAC Certified Standards

The point of this Certification is to assist many concerned vegans/vegetarians who are conscious about where their food comes from and whether or not the cultivation practices are in accordance with their principles/values.
